new york city, i have missed you.

mom went with me on our little trip, we split up once we got into the city...mom and i did shopping at Anthropologie (beautiful!), Gap, and Juicy Couture. we weren't there all day as i knew we wouldn't be, but we had a lot of fun in the time we did have!

i took all of these picture with my cell phone, so some of them might be a little fuzzy.

we shared a lot of laughs going back and forth. :)

mom and i thought their little Scotties everywhere were just adorable!

                 dinner at Alice's Tea Cup... very good, the ginormous hot     chocolate made it even better though. :)

and, for the fun of it, i took a video of our unusually calm cabby. quite honestly i was suprised at how not aggressive he was driving. the cab mom and i took earlier in the day was a maniac. as soon as we got into it, i never set my purse or my bags down and was trying not to touch anything i didn't absolutely have to, and was really surprised to see my mom reaching for a seatbelt. i just looked at her like "wwwhat are you doing?!" and she just nodded her head like it i don't he's going to kill us. so i was content to slide around on the seat and dig my feet in the floor instead. basically don't take a NYC cab unless it is vitally necessary. not only can they be maniacs, but they are so expensive! just to secure one (sit down and tell him where you want to go) is now $3-5! 

all-in-all though, i would have stayed there... there's SO much to see, and the city is beautiful at night. but now once again i have to add some places to my hit-list. i can't wait to go back up!!!
