what better to bring in the Fourth of July than good friends, watching our local Philharmonic and fireworks? :)
i knew the ground was going to be soaked as we were walking to the spot we found, and as i squatted down i looked at my best friend and said "Oh man Jeanna, i don't know if i can do this! do you feel how wet this is?!" and Jeanna (knowing i tend to be way girly) just grabbed my shoulder and yanked me the rest of the way down and laughed and said "don't worry Kate, we're all going to be wet so don't worry about it!"
so, beside having to sit on soaking wet grass, all-in-all we had a blast having perfect seats for such an important event... we definitely made a memory!

we weren't sure if we were allowed to sit this close to the Philharmonic, but since no one asked us to move we guessed we were okay!
