in lue of the pictures of Miss Adelyn since i haven't gotten a chance to actually see her (because of working) i thought i would (finally) post the picture of my somewhat finished baby quilt top...now i just have to have it sent out to be quilted, and then--- completion! :)
(i'm up for comments... do i do the applique on the pink and blue long squares or not? does it look fine without them?)

i think it looks lovely just the way it is! (gorgeous, in fact. and quilting can only add to the drama!)
Really pretty Kaitlyn! What kind of applique were you going to apply? Remember, that your quilting will add extra dimension and your material is printed...that might be busy enough...But you did a fantastic job!!! Very lovely!!! Can't wait for a picture of the finished product. Did you find the quilt shop I was speaking about previously? If not, let me know.

Hi Trish!!! i'm glad you found my blog... and thank you for the suggestion about the applique. i'd love to have you look at it in person though and tell me what you think (i'm not sure i like what they told me to do).
